I wonder what people’s experience with your children’s willingness and ability to do things with their peers. Are 3-6 year-olds too self-absorbed, or can they partipate in small group (2-5 members) activities?

on March 11th, 2009I’m not married (but I’m attached to a girl who babysits kids during weekends and I will join her sometimes), but based on the little humble experience that I have… I find kids tend to keep to themselves when they have their first encounter with others, but gradually, they open up when there are fun activities to engage together. The willingness to interact usually comes out when there’s fun involved. This is what I realized in general, but of course there’s the occasional one or two that are extrovets.
What do you guys think?
